How does it work?
Developers
We’ll give you all the tools you need to develop the code in your own environment. We define the application interface and provide a development test kit that emulates a Roku TV.
To keep things moving smoothly, we’ll also answer any questions you have along the way. There’s no cost for this program, and since it’s based on CEC and runs over HDMI, you don’t need any additional hardware.
Marketers
The Roku TV Ready logo can be used to advertise your product and show prospective customers that your audio device will work better with their Roku TV. You can publish the logo on marketing materials like retail packaging, in-store displays, online product pages, and press releases (per our guidelines, of course!).
How to get started
Sign up
It's easy. Just click the "Enroll in the Program" button below to request a Roku TV Ready developer account.
Get a dev kit
Sign a development evaluation agreement and we’ll ship you the kit. You can also get started using our tech docs.
Submit
Submit your product, self-test logs, and any marketing materials for certification.
Get certified
Once approved, your device’s sound settings will be made available to any Roku TV and you can start using the Roku TV Ready logo.
